Claire Danes at the SAG Awards

Claire Danes and some other gorgeous gals rocked a belt over their gowns on the red carpet. Such a great twist in fashion and I love it. This velvet belt adds shape to a nice flowy gown. Claire Danes' Louis Vuitton gown was designed by Marc Jacobs so look for details - there are tiny black flowers sewn onto the dress. So romantic!

Just stop. I'm still picking up my jaw from the floor. Last night at the GG awards Anne Hathaway Shut.It.Down. OMG, this Armani Prive gown is so current and risky. I absolutely love the beaded detailing all over, the dramatic shoulders and VERY (I mean VERY) low back. So sick. Well Done, Anne, Well Done. I am a total vintage junkie. It's so important to mix the old with the new. Never ever leave your old classics hanging in your closet for too long. Here's a great example. Will someone please explain this to me? I know they've been out in the stores for a little while, but I'm still so confused by this collaboration. It's just all wrong. THE "PS1"

OK So I finally decided to write about the bag with a serious cult following. For those of you who don't already know, the PS1 has pretty much replaced Mulberry's "Alexa" bag as the "it" bag. And if you don't know what the "Alexa" is...see my post from a looooong time ago (I think from July or August) and cheer up because I think the bag might still be available. :) The "PS1" represents everything I love about an "it" bag. It's slouchy and cool but isn't too big and fussy. A girl who wants to carry this bag likes to carry something noticeably fashion forward but not too flashy. I love the simplicity of this bag. While the price point may be steep, it's usefulness will "carry" on for several seasons. This bag comes in several colors. I think the Tobacco Tan is a true contemporary classic. Sequins! All day every day I want to wear sequins! Nothing is more fun or more girly. I saw this jacket in person the other day and it's sooooo perfect for every girl looking for a great holiday piece.
